Lego Star Wars Holiday Special.

Yesterday (11/17) Disney+ released the Lego Star Wars Holiday Special and can I just say I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was cute, funny, and just all-around entertaining. Here are a few of my favorite moments.

Rey training Finn.

One of the most disappointing things for me when it comes to the sequel trilogy was what they did or didn’t do I should say with Finn’s character. I 100% believe he should have become a Jedi. While yes I know it’s just in the world of legos it made me happy to see him with a lightsaber and being trained by Rey.

Hello there.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words and I’m pretty sure you can figure out what my next favorite moment is. You guessed it, all three Kenobis saying the fan-favorite “Hello there“.

Han shot first, both of them.

I really just loved all of the little moments from the movies that made it into the special and the Han Solo scene was a great addition.

Darth Vader’s reaction to The Child.

The Child is adorable even as a lego and Vader and Rey pausing to acknowledge his cuteness was probably one of my favorite parts.

There were a lot of little moments throughout that I really enjoyed but instead of posting a graphic novel with every one of them I highly suggest checking it out for yourself. The only two takeaways for me were not having any of the original cast voice the characters and the fact that somehow Ahsoka didn’t make it into the special. If you did get a chance to watch it, what were some of your favorite parts? Leave me a comment and let me know.
